Conditions of sale
By registering to bid you accept these conditions. Every bid is a binding offer to buy the lot at that price plus any buyer's premium stated on the lot.
The highest bid when the lot closes wins, provided any reserve is met. A maximum bid is placed for you one increment at a time, only as far as needed; equal maximums go to the bidder who set theirs first. A bid in the final minutes extends the lot's close so everyone can respond.
Each lot is described in good faith with a condition report, photographs and, where stated, an authentication. Condition grades are guidance; the report and photographs form the description. Ask a question on the lot or request a report before bidding.
11Bids may remove a bid, decline a bidder or withdraw a lot before it closes.
Payment is due within three days of the invoice. Lots are shipped fully insured with signature on delivery; duties and taxes outside the United States are the buyer's responsibility.
Won lots are final sale. A lot that is not as described or not authentic is refunded in full on its return.
